Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I was bullied throughout school for being an effeminate gay, abusive mother and sister.
I have this empty feeling very often , when I see happy people. Feeling of being not good enough. Does it stay forever till the day we die? Or does it go away? Has anyone worked on this ?

It can when your life improves. I haven't personally worked on it myself. I wish to but I feel lazy to fix anything that is actually fixable with my life. Ive been also bullied, not for the same reasons, but I managed to get over it. Abuse is different though, it's harder to get over. You can make it feel less worse when you manage to move away from that person, but not everyone can do that and be financially stable.

The emptiness is like the only thing I look forward to, I hate when it goes away and I actively seek out substances that bring it about or give me euphoria. I will take either or.

It can absolutely go away by working on it and with some professional help. The biggest hurdle us disconnecting tour sense if self worth from the need for external validation. You should be able to stand tall under any scrutiny if you are good enough for yourself. I got bullied quite a bit in school and had parents that I was terrified if disappointing. The day I said, "I am happy with myself and no one else's opinion matters" was a bug positive change in my life.

I've had an empty void inside me. Propalby a space for what I have been taught to achive in our society and social norms. You know, school, career, marriage, family, house, retirement saving and such. Now time is closing in and i feel less empty because i know no matter how fast I "run" I cannot achive those anymore. So now the void is getting smaller. Is this what they say: "time heals all wounds"?
