first time posting, i've always been a lurker, but i've experienced a trigger that's made clear to me that i want to be gone very soon. i don't know how much longer i can keep living like this— is hanging truly the most accessible and easy way to go? i've always had a problem with anything around my neck, i was choked as a kid and it led to me to not being able to take my own pulse, or wear turtlenecks, or get haircuts with the cape around my neck, so i'm a bit averse to it, but i'm sure i can push through it if it's really the easiest way.

what are the chances of hanging going wrong? or are there better, quicker, more trustworthy methods? i really need to go quick, i can't risk failing. sorry if this has been talked about before or something.

Hanging Is the most accessible but not the quickest or easiest that would be a shotgun blast in the mouth

hanging hurts like a bitch. i only tried for around 15 seconds but it was really painful. if you live in a country where you can access stuffs like guns easily, go with that method bc its the easiest, quickest and least painful method. im still going for hanging tho bc that's the only method available for me :')

This is a tough one. But if you have some prep time, nitrogen hypoxia ('exit bag') is quick and painless.

Welcome to SaSu! Sorry life has brought you here.

is hanging truly the most accessible and easy way to go?
Hanging is absolutely the most accessible way to go. Some sort of rope exists in most places for very cheap. Trees and beams are everywhere for an anchor.
what are the chances of hanging going wrong?
If you test your rope and anchor point and make sure you will not be found, the chances of something going wrong are relatively low. If you can get yourself to kick the chair, death will most likely follow. Sometimes people panic and save themselves but there is a reason this is the most popular suicide method worldwide (2016, old data, I could not find a more recent source https://www.researchgate.net/public...Various_Suicide_Methods_Used_Around_the_World)

It depends on what you mean by all of these. You always have to balance your method by feasibility, accessibility, and what you are willing to endure.

No one here can directly tell you how to kill yourself. Your best option is to look at the resources thread and educate yourself on options:
