Hello.
As a student of combat medicine in military, I own a few decent torniquets. Not the ones you might find for a cheap price on fast fashion website stores. Actual decent ones that save lives.
They are strong, durable, reliable. Since I study medicine, I have an idea or two on how this would go if it were to be attempted. But I guess I just need a bit of reassurance and confirmation, as I am not a superhuman who knows everything, and I've been always obsessive about certainty, that's a flaw on me.
Would tying a torniquet around a neck cause fast suffocation similar as the one saw in certain partial hanging cases? Would it be reliable?
This thread is for my own education and satisfaction only. Thank you.
