Dystopian future

Does anyone else feel pressured to be on the bus before A.I. inevitably makes this happen?

It's already pretty dystopian now, but it's going to get much worse when most of us here are rendered useless. At least those of us who don't adapt and find a way to be employed within the movement.

But who here realistically has the fucking time or energy to learn all this crap in time, at this point? Or even fucking cares? Especially when survival under this new world will be far from guaranteed and most likely stressful and miserable as AF.

But who here realistically has the fucking time or energy to learn all this crap in time, at this point? Or even fucking cares? Especially when survival under this new world will be far from guaranteed and most likely stressful and miserable as AF.

It's definitely added incentive. Everyday living is gonna be much more stressful for everyone in future with AI around and stress is the number one enemy for people with neurodiversity.

The best option for people like us is freelance, work from home jobs like translation, content writing etc. That's gonna take a big hit with AI - it already has. I saw a video of a lady on YouTube who has a degree from Cambridge in translation, has been working for 15 years, and is currently unemployed and turning to YouTube cause work has simply dried up for her.

With social media, I feel like we're already living in some kind of social darwinistic 1984 like dystopia that worsened at an accelerating rate during the pandemic. We already are in a post truth, morally hollowed out universe where our freedoms and rights are being encroached upon as we speak.

With AI and evolving technology, it's only gonna get worse and exponentially easier for the authorities to control their populations. It's gonna be a world where everyone would be a slave and freedom would be a myth..

With all the issues that I have, it's not like I don't have enough reasons to CTB, but the more, the merrier I guess.
