SN maybe? but I think theres too much prep for that for you to do it outside in the snow. Overdosing on a certain drug would be doable but if it's in public you're more likely to get saved. It's a 50/50 nowadays people see someone bleeding out and walk over them so you can never know for sure.

I'd do it the opioids way if I ever wanted to die in the snow. Theres cons and pros to it but it does work. At the start it would need a lot of prep to source it then get it. Then setting up the whole dosage part and knowing where to inject it.

Dying in a poppy field is what I think most people think of really.

Hypothermia as a method has been used in cold countries.
I believe they get very drunk then go in the woods or wilderness, then simply lay down with little or no clothing.
They are 100 percent dead by morning.
Sounds painful to me.

It does sound very painful, but also passive. You would need to remain in place, that would be difficult, but most methods require you to actively do something. Here you need to not do something. Maybe you'd pass out at a certain level of cold. Idk does still seem brutal.

I've always thought that ideally I want to die in the snow too! For me it's deep in the woods in the snow. Opioids would be nice but I don't know where to get them. What I do have is lots of ambien so my thought is go on a really cold night, take lots of ambien and hopefully freeze to death. I even love the idea of having my body return to nature and giving sustenance to woodland creatures. That's the most peaceful way I can think of. The hardest part is traveling to a cold climate but that's where I grew up and still visit.

Seeing how I got fired yesterday though, I have been fantasizing about blowing my brains out against the door at work. It's a glass door and concrete path so the executive director would have to see me and at least partly clean me up. He's usually the first one in and I love the thought of scarring him! I know that sounds terrible but oh well, I don't care anymore.

I really wonder about this because I think it would only be painful for the first part, and you could speed up heat dissociation with alcohol which dilates your superficial blood vessels. The second and third stages of hypothermia are not supposed to be unpleasant.
