A lot of OTC pill overdoses are shitty. Cutting your neck or wrists is hard to pull of and I don't see why anyone bothers trying it.

I feel guilty saying this because I know that many people opt for this method out of desperation and despair in the moment, but overdose. It seldom actually works nowadays because the drugs that allow for overdose have largely been phased out to prevent suicide.

Most people just end up in the ER getting their stomach pumped after an overdose attempt. It seems to create far more problems than it solves in most cases

Maybe it's me at fault but I thought this was a reference to how police officers have killed black people for no proper reason and showed no remorse. Therefore it's not bad because a PoC may not have to do much to provoke a response and the police officer may not be that bothered.
