That's what dsl normally stands for. It's the "cable" that connects your computer to the Internet.

DMC no longer exists. There's something new, and if someone confirms it, all the better. Now the website starts with sausages and the abbreviation is DSL. Am I right?

I just looked through thousands of results on Y using sausages instead of what it used to be, and all other kinds of iterations of the name, and I came up with nothing that dsl could be a shortened form for.
