• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Were any of you asked to let DSL know when you received your package? I was and I just find it strange because they have my tracking number.

Yup, I think it's standard for every email he sends out. Idk, maybe he likes to know and keep track of successful SN deliveries, and having people email him that they received their order is easier than keeping tabs on the tracking.

I think it's a mix of this and friendly customer service bullshit speak.

yeah i think its just automated responses esp cause DSL is sketchy maybe he tries to be more "welcoming" while also seeing how much customs is on his tail. also apparently companies can see how many times you check the tracking for a parcel, so maybe he'd rather leave it up to us to check on customs and deliver updates... who knows. doubt its malicious though. DSL guy is just a dude trying to earn money where he can imo but its not a scam.

He asked me the same thing. I think it's perfectly reasonable, I'd hope he uses the info to make sure whatever tactics he uses to ensure the parcels get through work.
