I couldn't find enough information on this topic, so I decided to start a thread; maybe someone can offer some advice and help with information.
I'm thinking about the drowning method in case of loss of consciousness due to drugs. Is it actually possible, for example, to float out to deep water on an inflatable mattress or something similar? Would I need to take a large number of tranquilizers (combined with alcohol or something else that would enhance the effect)? And should I try to wait in a sitting position until I pass out, or should I already be halfway in the water and hold onto some kind of inflatable beach item with my hands?
Am I correct in understanding that, in such a case, a person would simply drown while unconscious if they pass out? If they fall face-first into the water and don't regain consciousness, death will follow regardless. If a person is unconscious on their back, water will gradually enter their mouth anyway, and they will drown.
Also, wouldn't a person remain conscious due to a strong self-preservation instinct?
Are my thoughts correct? Can anyone provide more information about this method? Is CTB really possible this way?
