• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Yes I have read thru & done research. But looking for tips & stuff to ensure that I successfully can CTB by drowning. I am gonna try to make sure no one is around. The water will be cold. What do I do in terms of making sure I sink / stay under w weights or whatever? TY in advance

Only way I could see it working would be to tie up your legs and handcuff yourself behind your back and throw away the key. SI WILL kick in and prevent you from drowning.

I wouldn't recommend this method at all unless you're dead set on it (pun not intended lol). It's extremely painful and likely horrifying. Have you looked up any other methods that you'd consider?

I'm also considering drowning, it's the only method I feel might look like an accident which may provide a bit more comfort to my family and friends. I've heard that shallow water blackout if you can manage it results in drowning much quicker and that you won't have the SI factor to deal with.

I'm wondering if the wim hof method would be good for that, or mixing bleach and rubbing alcohol to make you pass out briefly

How much experience do have swimming?

Edit for clarification; I haven't swam in years and so if I jump into a deep end with no rail nearby I feel like I would just flail and exhaust myself then drown, no need for precautions.

where are you planning to drown in? Jumping in the sea/river and naturally walking in sea
