How would you need to position yourself to do that?

I imagine you could fill the bathtub, tie something around your neck that will make it sink (a small bag with wrist weights?), take the right dose of something sedative, and once it kicks in and you're sitting in the water — as long as your body is slouched forward — you should drop headfirst and drown, right? Or is it too risky?

To start off: I do not know.

I almost drowned in a bathtub when I was younger. I was just playing around and it was scary, but ofcourse I was young and fought my way out.

I remember a story from a friend whose friend had passed away after using drugs and chilling in a bathtub. I do not know the details of what drugs he was using or how it all went down. All I know is he passed - it was not a suicide AFAIK.

I would think that if the tub is full and you're using your legs to stay 'up' a bunch of sedatives would likely help you slip down, or something. I wouldn't know, but it's definitely possible.

I'm just concerned about floating up before dying. I know that a higher body fat % makes it harder (if not impossible) to sink when the body is relaxed. I'm thin, but being female, I do have a considerable amount in certain places.

Didn't think of that, might be a good idea. Thanks

Edit: on second thought, a heavy bag could probably do the same thing.
