It is but it's chalky downlands so there are bumps and dips. People have done it before, but like I said, they made the news:
A young man drove his car off 500ft cliffs at Beachy Head in a suicide tragedy on Good Friday, an inquest heard.

Sussex Police say the car has been found and a recovery operation has begun at the famous chalk cliff.

There are also some cases where the driver survived:

Many thanks.
I wouldn't jump off Beachy Head. In fact, I wouldn't jump onto any hard surface. Scares me too much; that's why the driving method came to mind.
And I know that hitting water, from a certain height, is like hitting a brick wall, but it's just more appealing to me.
Humber cos it's closer but not sure what anti ctb things they've got in place. I know there's a charity that walks up and down checking. And I know the walkway is shut from 9pm - dont know how easy it is to get round that. Was my preferred method and haven't ruled it out but scared I might survive but with paralysing injuries. I don't want fame. I just want to quietly be gone
For me, it's much further away.
A long drive.
But my method is simple, and I believe effective: I'll just pay to drive over, then suddenly stop half way over, get out of my car, dart to the little railing, and climb over.
Once I'm over, I'll have control.
I also fear surviving, and having life changing injuries, so I'll use my time to gather my thoughts, get myself worked up, then jump.
