Venting Dreams of killing myself

I've been having these dreams where I hang myself. In some dreams, I tie the rope, step off, and feel the weight of it, but I never actually die. I find myself unconscious, completely paralyzed, unable to open my eyes. These dreams keep repeating, each time more vivid than the last. Even though l'm aware that I'm not really in danger, the sensation of being paralyzed and powerless lingers long after i wake up. It leaves me feeling hollow and utterly drained. I have no desire to continue living.

I can enthersize with that it feels so real I dream of hanging I feel the rope tighten and being unable to breathe as I struggle

About a year ago I had several dreams like that. It was not bad.

I've been having dreams like this recently too, except that it was a different method each time. Best of wishes to you and everyone else in the replies regarding these suicide dreams.

oh wow, I dreamt of practicing nightnight, noticing it start to work and stop, basically thinking "this is practice, not CTB" (omitted from dream log btw)

I had a few of these dreams before I even succeeded once or twice. I recall once I succeeded and I became a ghost and I was so excited that I woke up and was filled with disappointment.

Think a lot were also jumping, then I wake up before I hit the ground. I was generally pretty happy when I attempted irl so I don't find these too bad.

Side note, I miss going on adventures with characters from a game I play.
