Does KN have the same efficacy as SN?

I got my hands on properly sealed KN, I bought SN before but it wasn't sealed so I doubt it's still usable

How alike are KN and SN, I read KN taste worse but other than that does it work the same way and have the same symptoms as SN upon ingesting

How bad is the taste really

They're both nitrite salts. They have the exact same MOA of converting haemoglobin into methaemoglobin, depriving you of oxygen (hypoxia). Onset time and symptoms are the exact same.

The only difference is the cation: the nitrite ion is what is responsible for killing you. KN is less toxic slightly because of their respective molecular weights. This isn't much a difference at all, so don't read into it much.

They will both taste bitter and disgusting, no avoiding that. Potassium salts in general do indeed tend to get worse feedback. I don't think the salts taste much different personally, perhaps potassium salts taste a bit more metallic (?), but they're both still very much the opposite of a casual drink, that's for sure.
