So, at my place, SN is easy to get. For me, the hardest part for the SN method is Antiemetic.

In a sticky thread of this forum, Metoclopramide is the only Antiemetic suggested, which needs a prescription.
But there were other complete SN guides like this one suggesting some other Antiemetic options, one of them is Domperidone.

Just very recently, I found that Domperidone is kind of easy to get, maybe I can buy it directly from local pharmacy, not like Metoclopramide, which I need a prescription.
So if Domperidone is a valid option, it'll be much easier for me to do all the preparation for the SN method.

Can someone explains this for me?
Thanks.

Just porting to follow if anyone else has info on this. In my country both Meto and Dom are prescription only.

For me the pharmacy got the doctor to change the prescription from Meto to Dom because of possible interactions with my other medications.

Anyone know how effective Dom is vs Meto?

PPH mentions Dom as one of the possible antiemetics in the SN protocol. It, like Meto, accelerates gastric emptying, which should speed up the entry of SN into the bloodstream, and has the same mechanism of action. Meto is mentioned as a more effective antiemetic, but I'm not sure how significant the difference is, because on the internet it is usually mentioned that Meto and Dom are quite similar in effectiveness. Did a quick research and in some studies Dom is cited as being more effective for nausea/vomiting forcertain conditions, while in others Meto shows itself to be better, but the difference is usually not drastic.
