The last time I burnt incense... well, hold up, it actually wasn't me who did it; it was a Pagan friend who came to my apartment to do a "cleanse" because I was so fucking desperate to make my life somewhat bearable. (Seriously, when I say I tried everything I possibly could, I REALLY mean it.)

Anyway, the last time I was around burning incense, all that it did for me was give me a sore throat and burning eyes and made it difficult for me to breathe. I also ended up in the psych ward twice that week, but that definitely had something to do with the antipsychotics I was prescribed after a misdiagnosis (which I was also forced to take more of in the hospital because, surprise, nobody actually fucking listens). I did meet my husband a couple months after that, though, but not once did it ever cross my mind that it was because of a burning stick. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but all I know is that my luck was equally as shitty after burning incense as it was before.

So in my case, I'm gonna have to go with no.
