Venting Does anyone here believed or believes in God?

I believed in higher beings since I was in college but coming here, i don't think it's still true anymore. I don't even know if he's really real. Most of the people I know says I have to trust him and all that but they couldn't even understand what i'm going through and they don't seem to care. So yeah, how could i really believe in anything or anyone right now? It makes me sick.

I believe in god but not the religious definition of god. I belive that god is a game designer, a hypercomputer or something, and that you get judged based upon your actions. I don't think you have to believe in god or religion in order to get the approval of god. What matters is what you do with the cards you've been dealt, it decides where and what you respawn as.

I don't believe in God, I found religion on a whole to be too cruel, especially with their view on suicide. But I was raised in a religious household at the expense that I can add in hating myself for my desire to die as well as believing in the past that I'd get to go somewhere awful just for wanting to be free of my pain. I respect religions though, but they're not for me.

Its possible we are in a simulation, but organic life would always precede mechanical life. So even if simulations exist there is still organic life in existence otherwise simulations could never exist. We might also happen to be in that organic reality

Yeah i've been thinking about that a lot. That when you take your own life and that, you won't go to heaven.
I've been respectful of their beliefs as well, the people around me but what's happening to me right now is just hard to the point that i can't make myself call to Him or even believe that he's there.

I dont think it works like that in the universe in terms of punishment and reward, its more about natural consequences. And yes mostly when we act from a negative state of mind, we have negative consequences. So yeah I think its possible it might be very negative in terms of the consequences that I would face

I used to believe in god because I was indoctrinated as a child. Then I learned how to think skeptically, realized I have never been given any actual evidence of a god, and it all fell away from me, for which I'm grateful.
