Does anyone else have skin issues?

I got skin issues in high school after getting mono which then leads to auto immune issues in most cases like food allergies.

And I have basically wanted to kill myself since and have never had a job during the daylight except for like a week and dropped out of high school because of it. When I got skin issues it just completely broke my brain and I am not the same person anymore.

There is a correlation with the skin and mental health, along with allergies and mental health. The inflammation created occurs in the brain as well.

You can get a dermatologist if you have concerns with your skin, I do sometimes get acne like now because it was that time of the month.

This month funny enough I have more acne than ever I guess this is because of a combination of my period, stress and everything else going on in my life. I remember someone complimenting my skin a few months back (around March) because I didn't have make up on and I was just coming from the gym after work and I had taken a shower at the gym.

You can try to use tea tree for skin, it's actually good as well maybe everyday in the morning and in the evening after work.

Eczema and vitiligo here. I've wondered endlessly if there is a correlation between these conditions and the various stresses of CPTSD.

Yeah, it only affects certain areas but makes me feel like a freak that no one will ever want. Lots of scaring even when healed.

Severe eczema over here. Really fucks up my self-esteem even though I've had it my whole life and should be used to it by now.

I am using quercetin and hespiridin in fat like olive oil because they are fat soluble. Polyphenols are way more potent than vitamins. It seems to really help a lot. NAC is also very good for the skin I have noticed.

My skin issues come from drinking too much. I could stop but then i'd have to find a new coping mechanism and i dont want to

Skin issues are very common and of endless variety. Inflammation does play a role as does bacteria, immune system dysregulation, bad diet They can be mild or very severe. Not eating sugar helps. Acne can be from stress which causes hormonal dysregulation. Or it is hereditary.

ive had a series of small cysts on my face and body that caused scarring most would call minimal or not notice but looking in the mirror hurts. cystic acne is fucking cruel. mental health absolutely influences how well your body functions on every level and skin is the largest organ, its subjected to hormonal and environmental influences just like any other

Yes. I've had acne for years and tried everything under the sun including accutane. I went in for a food sensitivity test and it turns out nearly everything including a lot of fruits and vegetables makes me inflamed. So if i want clear skin I have to eat an extremely limited and expensive diet. It's just not very doable, and my skin issues have always made me feel undesirable. I'm sick of it.

Or it can be the other way around. Skin problems can influence the brain. It can be inflammation in multiple places. Usually in the gastrointestinal tract.

You need a lot of probiotics. And repair of the tissue in the gastrointestinal tract probably. You should probably just always eat probiotics and prebiotics.

also the supplements of:

Collagen
Zinc Carnosine
Lysine
L-Glutamine, powder
Quercetin with fat like yogurt, just buy the powder and mix it in with yogurt, hesperidin is good too
Vitamin D

Stuff like B vitamin complex pills, Vitamin C, you need to flood the body with nutrients to replenish the tissue which you can get from prebiotics like fruits and vegatables

For acne including cystic acne use Zapzit, wash your face at least once a day with it, leave the lather on for at least one or two minutes before rincing. It's cheap and the best thing you can use. I'm a product junkie who has tried literally everything you can buy, cheap and very expensive things both. Walmart has it, it's around $10. I buy about 20 skin products a month and have been doing reviews of them on YT and other places.

Zapzit gets into your pores and cleans them out.

Oh nice. I would say just as much people suffer from eczema and other auto-immune problems on the face/skin. That is my problem. I will just usually wash my face with salt water. For a while I was doing white willow bark which is aspirin.
