What do you mean by overdosing on Xanax? Like blacking out after taking too much or nearly dying from it?

I do like benzos, bromazolam, alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam etc. I'll do any of them. yum. I am also so paranoid about blacking out that I somehow nearly never blackout when mixing alcohol and benzos but can easily black out only drinking.
No not OD in the sense I had that much, but for the last week I was taking up to 10 a day, a very large amount, so when I finished them and went cold turkey it was no wonder I had a seizure. I went up to 10 in one day because it just wasn't fking doing anything for me.

Another drug I've abused is cocodamol. Both my gf and father get more than they need and in desperation to feel better if ask them for some. I ended up often taking double the prescribed dose to feel content with everything but I had a scare about 8 months ago so have stopped doing that. It's hard though, other than alcohol I don't have anything to take the edge off life anymore

Damn dude that's a massive amount, did you just not feel it or did you have delusions of sobriety that lead to such redoses?

No it literally did nothing that I could feel. I could think clearly, I could walk fine, it was as if it were a placebo. They were off the dark net so I'm pretty sure they were fakes. I've had just 2mg of diazepam recently and that defo helped with anxiety when I took two so yeah that's my theory, they were a very suspicious substance that causes seizure on withdrawal and not xanax

Oooh, so very very dodgy pressed pills that makes sense. It might still have been legitimate alprazolam though as it can cause seizures as a rare paradoxical effect. There have been cases of fake pressed ones with Bromazolam and similar research chemical benzo analogs going around and reportedly causing seizures and hospitalizations for various reasons.

Yeah I'm never doing that again! Had to surrender my driving license until medical pros give me the thumbs up again. Will have been without it for over a year and a half, it sucks! Plus the back cramps for 6 months after was its own kind of hell anyway!

I'm an alcoholic. Messed around with psychs, benzos, coke, and meth a little bit, but none of those sunk their teeth into me like alcohol did (benzos probably would have if I had steady access to them tbh).

I went to impatient treatment years ago and have been sober for nearly five years.

Is getting sober worth it? Yeah, it is, but don't believe the "everything magically got better when I got sober." I'm probably just as, if not more, mentally anguished in my day-to-day life. I choose not to use the chemicals that alleviate this mental anguish, and I accept that.

The issue is that alcoholism compounded to my issues in other ways. Financial stress, pushing people away much faster than simply MDD or anxiety will, making very bad decisions resulting in treating people badly, crashing my vehicle, etc. if I'm miserable and suicidal all day every day, at least I'm not actively ruining a woman's life by being her alcoholic depressed boyfriend, ya know?
