Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I can't say I'm the most updated on the news however, lately it has been constant stress by reading it... :') Either it is gold prices surging and feeling like I'm falling behind by choosing not to buy because I have dependencies or watching the greenland shitshow and wondering if the world is going to hell in the next few years. Does anyone feel the same way?

Look at world history, it's been hell. We're just so interconnected through social media, that every negative event is hitting your feed all at once.

Agreed. It feels like the media loves to push negative news forward as well and ignore all the positive things happening

I pretty much never look at the news because I know it's all going to be awful and make me nervous. If there's really something big I need to know I'm sure I'll hear it from other people talking about it.

I stopped watching or reading the news a few years ago now. There is no balance in what is reported, in that all they report is negative news. Unfortunately i think that is indicative of what "sells" and is perhaps an all to accurate reflection on the human obsession with negativity

A few people have shared a similar thought here I'm just quoting you because you're the most recent. Not trying to single you out or anything.

What the world finally caught up. I agree the news usually lead with negative because it sells. It But now things really are bad. A complete collapses coming. So many signs are there.

I only get news from podcasts where people are talking about it in an amusing way.

As for economy stuff, years ago the economy was good and people went on about it. I was still unhappy. Then it got bad and people went on about that, as if everything was perfect when the economy was good. So I kind of ignore it when I can. Admittedly I was really annoyed at Putin for obvious reasons but also because I was really broke and his latest war made things more expensive (also partly from businesspeople etc. taking advantage I'm sure)
