Does anyone else imagine themselves somebody else "for example a celebrity" just to avoid the panic of their current reality

In a more pessimistic or optimistic way- depending on how you look at it. I tend to look at them and think- I doubt I'd be happy- even in your place. Maybe it's good in so much as maybe it means I'm content where I am. But, it also means I believe nothing would help. A successful career, wealth, love, fame. I can still see problems with all of it. Plus- my character dumped in a celebrity body? Hell no. That would be hell! My social anxiety and lack of confidence would overwhelm me. I'm not sure I do envy others really. I just assume all our lives are shit, one way or another. Or at least- I'd experience their life negatively I would imagine.

every single day and night.
what's weird to me is that these daydreamings are not happy ones at all. i imagine that i'm someone else, but this person doesn't have a good life at all. idk weird

A lot. Usually I imagine my stories are popular and people listen to what I say. I spend more time there then reality. Idk I might be a narcissist.

That doesn't sound narcissistic to me, I just want to be treated like normal ppl are I want ppl to listen to me and I want ppl to go on adventures with. Always been this way
