  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Saaaaame!! Summer where I am is so short. I feel like I need to make the best of it while the nice weather is here, but that doesn't magically remove depression from my life. That creates this vicious cycle of being sad because I can't make the best of it, but never making the best of it because I'm sad. I also self harm less in the summer due to being harder to hide so my ability to cope with things is lower when I don't have that.

i feel worse during the summer. i always feel aimless around this time of year. but i also just dont like hot weather, being sweaty, too much sunshine makes me more sluggish

then again i don't like winter either. ig i genuinely always feel like shit 😅 woops

It seems to be an almost universal pattern that suicide rates are higher in Spring and Summer than in Autumn/Fall and Winter. It was first pointed out in the 1890s by Emile Durkheim, in his book "On Suicide", and many studies since then have found the same pattern.
