don't deserve to live, be happy, enjoy things, etc. i've had so many little moments where i could've felt happy, but i just can't let myself.

My cousin was married at the start of the year. Just a few weeks ago, he was found to have an enormous tumour in his head. After several grueling surgeries, it seems he will at least survive, but he will have long-term problems. I would have traded places with him in an instant, though I would not have bothered with any of the treatments.

Most definitely, I feel like someone like me shouldn't be able to enjoy the benefits and privileges of my life when there are people out there who are genuinely good people who get the short end of the stick

I think that I don't deserve to live, not because of self loathing but because I'd always suffer if I live and I think I deserve to not suffer, hence I deserve to not liveSimilar threads
