Does AI make you want to die more?

It's getting to the point where it's going to be impossible to know what's real and what's not. It's so incredibly dangerous. AI makes me want to die even more I hate the inauthenticity of it and how it takes no effort to deceive people.

I've also noticed a big shift in social media. There's so much more engagement farming and politics which is only going to get worse with AI. It used to be chill.

i absolutely agree. not only is it ruining the environment i'm supposed to be living in, but as an artist and writer, i feel more obsolete every day. AI only makes things worse, yet it seems like the general public doesn't understand how much it's hurting every aspect of our daily lives.

Oh yeah it really makes me want to die. They are building two hyperscale data centers in my town of 3,000. One is already under construction to be completed q2 2027. The other is just planned but they bought the grass farm already so its gonna happen. Already our water is constantly on and off a boil notice and every time the wind blows the power goes out. Its only gonna get worse because the data center is gonna use 5 million gallons of water a day. That's the same as 4 fire hydrants left on 24/7. And they aren't even building their own power generation they are gonna steal it from us at a huge discount while we pay the difference.

And then if AI is actually successful then that is the end. Ten people will own the entire means of production in this country. There will be NO survivors.

Already got the AI lawn mowers here in Australia, which is sad. I've known a few people who had lawn mowing businesses.

When I see someone say that they lost their job because of AI I start stressing for the future

Yes. I fucking hate seeing an ai overview whenever I wanna look up something simple. Recently I've noticed that typing "-ai" in the search bar is no longer working (at least for me). I hate seeing people use ai images of memes, I hate seeing ai posters, I hate how it's ruining the lives of people living near data centers (and humans in general), and I just hate how it's shoved into our face :(

yeah it's one of the top 3 things causing my persistent ideation. as long as generative AI continues to exist & be used i will never have a career in the arts. eventually gen alpha & the gen after that will be accustomed to AI & not care about "real" art... fascist ideology is becoming the norm. it's fucking disgusting.

Yes. People trust blindly trust everything chatgpt says, they don't care about quality, don't care about environment, we're trading efficiency for inefficiency because "it's the future".
