I used to believe, without question, that I was going to reincarnate.

I even took on the Hindu faith, having been born C of E.

However, since being in many comas (overdoses) where there was literally nothing, I now believe that could be an option.

But, I've also become addicted to watching NDEs (Near Death Experiences) and I believe there actually is a heaven. I know there is a hell, and we are existing in/on it, right now.

I'd like to think that heaven is real, so that I can be reunited with lost loved ones, but I just don't know.

What about you? What do you think happens, and what would you like to happen?

I believe in reincarnation. I think that everyone gets reincarnated unless they escape the reincarnation cycle/soul trap. Hopefully I can escape it in this lifetime. I heard that there are different ways to escape:

1. Nirvana
2. Not going into the light

I don't know which one is the right way though. Also, I believe that this world is already hell, so it doesn't make sense that there would be a hell in which you would be stuck in for eternity. Why would you stay in the same place forever? Nothing in life is permanent. Everything is always changing

I think you just cease to exist just like before you were born. Also I think it would be a risky bet to ctb to go to a better place without evidence

Also I don't think I'd go to heaven if it does exist unfortunatly

i think there is such a thing as ghosts (souls who linger on this plane), so it seems natural that there are other planes of existence humans can't comprehend. i wonder if there is such a thing as the astral plane or if people who claim to induce out of body experiences are just dreaming
reincarnation then seems natural. there are many cases of children who claim to have memories of past lives, but it is dreadful to think of

I don't believe in anything currently.
I don't know what to expect.

I only know that I don't want nothingness.
I will be very disappointed when there is nothing (of course I won't know it, but you know what I mean).

I want life, but a different life. Better life.

I will also be very happy if after death I do not have to face eternal torture for my sins.
However, I don't believe in it at all.
The concept of good and evil is, in my opinion, naive.
I don't think that hell awaits me even if I commit the greatest crime in the history of this sad planet.

Unfortunately I don't know what I want.
I am completely unable to define my true desires.
I can't imagine the universe I want.
My imagination can't create something like this.

Death will not pass me by, so sooner or later I will find out what awaits me.

Life is impermanence, so the concept of eternity sounds illogical to me

Maybe souls are real?
Maybe biological bodies are just vessels that contain the soul?
Maybe there is no eternity in the afterlife?
Maybe there is only a migration of souls from one vessel to another?
But who controls the entire process and why?
Or maybe control is not needed?
Maybe life doesn't need God over it?
But then why did life arise?

The questions can be multiplied endlessly.
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer.

In my opinion, immortal eternity after death is also illogical.
If there is life after death, I don't think it's an immortal dimension.
It would be too easy.
But unfortunately the world doesn't care what I think.

I very strongly believe death to simply be the absence of everything, nothing more than an eternal and dreamless sleep where all is finally forgotten about, once we lose consciousness that is it for us, we are gone. The thought of such is all that comforts me, all I wish for is non-existence, I find it so beautiful to think of this existence permanently disappearing into nothingness. Death is finally the end to suffering in this futile and hellish existence where there is endless potential for cruelty and agony, I only find beauty in death, existence itself is the true problem and I despise existing, it's such a terrible, horrific tragedy how life even exists at all.

Non-existence is certainly all I wish for, it's an abomination to exist, it'd be better if there's nothing, it'd be better if existence is erased, for me death is the way to find peace from the torturous burden of existing as a human, all I wish is to be eternally unaware.

I've also watched near death experiences on Netflix and I believe, at least that's what I'd I like to believe is that you reunite
With your loved ones who have past.
I don't believe any of us are going to hell, simply for being in hell and not being able to go on, if that were the case then the universe or whatever exists is sadistic.

I remember nothing from before I existed so why should I think there is anything when I return to that state.
Regarding reincarnation knowing my luck I'd come back as myself.

I believe there is God ofc and there is heaven to good people. Who created the earth, you, animals and everything we gotta have a God! I lost faith when my son passed away because I don't understand if there is a God why he allowed bad people to kill him?? I still asks that question but definitely I believe we all have a God.

I believe there is nothingness after death. Which makes me sometimes wonder if I do want to die, if I can't experience the peace. But what I want to happen is to be reincarnated as a pet with an easy life, like a house cat.

I think nothing. Aboslute nothingness. However perhaps some go to a different dimension? I've been coming across some science stuff about like 6 or 7 dimensions and it's really interesting. I know we hallucinate, go into our subconscious, envision and develop fantastical scenarios when Near Death or anesthesia/coma stuff happens, so I thought that part was explained. There's ghostly stories and haunting happenings that people experience and you think kind of the same thing. Hell you can still feel pain when after an amputation. Nerves and the mind creates different realities. However, something other than nothingness has to be out their since I was at home and heard two children giggle while I had a movie paused in my apartment when I lived with my mom. It definitely wasnt a noise heard through the wall, and none of our neighbors had kids. What's interesting though is my mom was sitting on the couch next to me, and I paused it to tell her something about the movie, (don't watch movies with me, I pause and pause lol, and rewind😂) and she heard the two children giggle too because both our heads flicked in the direction like 5ft away from us in front of the wall that held cabinets. The noise was under the thermostat which apparently temperature can play a factor in supernatural. I thought it was the most awesome thing and I laughed because I love scary stuff. My mom was scared lol. I never thought I'd be the lucky one to get a ghostly experience, that's just my luck, but I did! So I don't know the algorithm for people, but I don't think it's deity-based, and I don't fear it.

Used to believe in an afterlife, not sure what it was, but thought there had to be something. If energy can neither be created or destroyed but only transferred, then consciousness should follow the same rules and can only be changed.

Then I thought maybe consciousness could be transferred into other non-conscious forms of energy, as when your brain dies the chemicals that allow different processes to occur would cease their actions. I feel like proving or disproving an afterlife is beyond the realm of worldly reason, and it's sort of pointless to try and prove and we can only speculate. You cannot prove something greater than the universe using only the universe.

I hope there's nothing, honestly. Used to want an afterlife so that I could see friends and family beyond the constraints and issues of our world, but I just want to sleep now. I want to put on an exit bag and just die.

Look into QHHT by Dolores Cannon. She has written books about life after death and made a career in doing past-life hypnosis sessions to help figure out people's past lives. I'm planning to get a session done by one of her practitioners here in my area but I'm skeptical about the process since it is hypnosis and I could be made to believe anything doing the process.

I also suggest reading the Gospels if you have curiosity in Christianity as they're live testimonies of Jesus' life and actions. See for yourself what you think is inherently true for you and just have faith in whatever convictions you have in the end. Anything could be possible as far as I'm afraid.

I think you cease to exist. There isn't any evidence of the contrary that I know of.

Basically, death doesn't really exist for the dead because death is only a concept people alive can experience. So death is not something we truly experience first hand, which means there aren't ways to describe it, because it's not an experience you can actually go through.

I see absolutely no evidence of the supernatural. I believe that most likely when you die your experience becomes the same as it was 1 year before you were born. No mental function no emotion no memory no physical sensation. Once the mind stops functioning that's it.

I imagine death being how it was prior to being born. Things existed without me and will continue to exist after I'm dead.

I don't think there's any justification to believe that there's an afterlife of sorts. I think it all stems from emotions and our egocentric way of viewing the universe. Evidence points to consciousness being a product of the brain; everything that makes you you, your personality, thoughts and memories seems to come from the brain. But the brain deteriorates and dies along with the rest of our body.

the mind it is bound to flesh and laws and as the flesh weakens (such as dementia or a stroke) the mind and consciousness also weakens and fails. So when your brain dies you also die.

it only applies to particles, not something constructed out of the particles, it's like saying a car can survive a car crash at 100mph all you have left are fragments

I want to believe about reincarnation, but my mind is always convincing me when I'm done, I'm done, there's no "other side" just death
