• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I watched an Interview with a German intellectual Juli Zeh. She is a leftwinger. She supports the same party as me. Though she has some warm words for Trump. I completely disagree with her takes on Ukraine. I am more with Anne Applebaum. A hawk on Russia.

Juli Zeh was shown a clip of Applebaum demanding more military support for Ukraine. Exactly my position. Zeh said she would fully agree with her except if there Was one Thing. Russia has nukes. And if Russia got run over they would use nukes. She also suggested Trump was a fighter for peace. Lol.

My criticism: Russia not winning or even losing the Ukraine war would not be the same as getting run over. There were reports Russia considered to use nukes. And Chancellor Scholz and XI pressured Putin not to use it. I still doubt that Putin would have done it. It could have massively backfired and destabilize Russia. I think it is important for the West not to use a regime change tactic. This would be too dangerous. But I would take the risk the Putin regime crumbles if they lose the Ukraine war. There are no better alternatives. I think Russia occupying the East of Ukraine would lead to massive crimes against humanity. But it looks like this might Happen.

I also think it sets a dangerous precedent that borders in Europe can by changed by force. I think one needs to deter Russia. There is a massive militarization in Russia. The economy depends on it they will need an outer enemy. There might be a break but it won't last long.

Moreover, I think with the argument we risk a nuclear war if we Support Ukraine is stupid. If we accept that we are so easy to blackmail and manipulate. And so many fall for it. What if Russia invades Estonia for example Well they still have nuclear weapons. If we use the same logic Europe ends up a slave of Russia.

Do we gamble with World war 3 by supporting Ukraine? I think Putin does. If we show weakness this will increase his appetite. Deterence is very important for peace. But the same people who are against military support for Ukraine are also against increased spending in Europe's poor military. We need a peace through strength.

I'm 100% sure he would use them if cornered by other countries. He's a maniac and psycho, if he loses then everyone has to. (I still think we should fuck him up tho)

No. But I think he would if cornered, or, if he thought he could get away with limited use without retaliation, to score political points.

I would classify Putin's invasion of Ukraine largely unsuccessful and no I don't think he'd ever use nukes.

He justified the use of nuclear weapons, in the russian news; in cases:
1. The US and/or nato "attacks" russia.
2. US/nato gives long range missels to Ukraine.
