In a lot of other languages, there are two different words for referring to a group of people and one singular person (ex. vous and tu in French). We used to have this distinction in English as well, with thou being the singular form and you being the plural, but this distinction disappeared in common speech in the last century or two, meaning we now use you for both plural and singular.

But having a way to specifically address a group of people is so useful that many dialects of English just created their own, with the most notorious probably being "y'all" in the American South.

But it didn't end there: now we needed a way to refer to the possessions of this group of people (ex. a waiter asking for a group's orders), so different English speakers had to create a corresponding possessive form for this ad-hoc second-person plural pronoun. I'm just curious to see what the distribution is like for the different terms!

You can answer if you're a native speaker or non-native. Comment with where you're from/grew up/learned English. I'm from Western Canada and I say your guys's (pronounced like your guyz-iz).

I'm originally from Michigan. So I mostly say "you guys" 'you guys want to grab pizza' ' what are you guys doing?' However I've been in the south for over 20yrs. To my shame( lol) I've said 'ya'll'

I would just say "can I get your orders?" in this context since it's clear that I'm adressing the whole group. But if I had to pick one of your options, I would go with "you guys'" because it sounds the most natural to me.

I would never feel comfortable using "y'all" with a german accent.

Edit: Now that I think about it "your guys'" sounds more natural actually.

Just your, everything else is either grammatically incorrect or too informal.

I do not believe I have ever addressed more than a single person at a time.

I've used basically everything, but I would say I default to y'all because it's shorter and requires far energy from me.

I mostly say you guys, but I'm a Southerner, so the occasional y'all slips out.

I say y'all's and you guys' interchangeably. A lot of my family is from the American south, although that is not where I live, but I picked up their speaking habits.

y'all and you guys

depends on who I am around and where they are from because I am afraid people will make fun of me if I say y'all if they aren't used to hearing the word

what if they think I'm him....
