Do you know of any successful painless suicides in public places?

We read in many resources that it's important to pick a place where you won't get found soon.
But sone suicides are also statements. Do you know of any serious or successful painless suicide attempts at relatively populair /public locations?

Places that got a lot of public or media attention (not because of the person but because it happened right under the noses of so many people).

For example someone committing suicide at night at a place which is very busy during the day.

Middle East has a bunch of suicide bombings. A guy in Seattle stole a Boeing Jet and did a barrel roll into a mountain. Most are going to be just gunshots to the head. If you're thinking of doing it in public, please be aware of innocent bystanders who do not want to be part of your history.

I'm actually mostly curious if there have been any reports of SN or N in public places or with somehow had a realization effect on many people. Not planning anything just curious if this has happened.

Burning yourself isn't painless

I'm sure in theory it could be done. But sounds like a terrible idea. Chances of success would plummet. I guess if you went to a public park and just lied on the grass you could do it. But could you go 8 hours without someone intervening? Unlikely.

The recommendation is typically to not be found within 24 hours. Does it usually take 8 hours? No. But there a lot of cases that can take multiple hours depending on the individual. Some cases of N have taken over 12 hours. There's just no way to know how your body will react to these chemicals.

I od'd and went and sat under a tree on a golf course. A man came over to me and I said I was passed. He told me to go home because I was in a bad way. About 2 hours later there was dozens of police searching for me and a chopper out. Brought the whole place to a stop. It was awful. There was so many police everywhere and everyone was just gawking at me. It wasn't good
