I watched these videos in order to choose a method and realized that some methods are terrible and definitely not suitable for me. But I don't want to watch any more

no. whatever it is their reason for creating the video, it's their desire to never want to be associated with this world again so we must keep it that way and respect them for their commitment into doing so. i know it may be tempting for the methods we all might use someday, but i know i wouldn't want anyone watching my video (wouldn't make it in the first place but let's say hypothetically) even if it helps them because then i wouldn't achieve peace. despite being comforting to some people, it feels disrespectful indeed.

I don't need to watch videos or people suiciding or attempting to. I chose to watch a friend take her medicine and die because she did not want to go alone. I was not the only one who watched but we were there for her at her request. I am thankful it looked mostly peaceful passing and we chatted a while before she took the last part and then she asked us to stay until she was gone.. There was nothing we could do to help but we wouldn't have anyway. But after witnessing that and being close to the person in friendship it has never left me either. Did it affect my 0wn ctb desire? No that has always been my own choice and will be when I go. But it did allow her to go knowing we cared enough to be with her to the end. That meant a lot.
Oh without revealing any more I will say several people here know who it was. She was here.
Wish you all Peace in your journey's to whatever choice you make, live or ctb or just give it more time.
l would never need to watch anyone's video of doing it. Been there done that. What I watched, Will be with me to my own end.

Yes, sometimes.

I watch it because I kind of like gore videos.
I don't like directed movies.
I prefer real recordings.

I know this sounds VERY bad, but some of the death videos are hilarious. I don't necessarily mean CTB.

However, the CTB recordings give me a strange feeling because I know that in some time I will be in their place.
It also helps me come to terms with death.
I hope no one records my CTB.
I want to keep some dignity in my life.

I've seen people hang, shoot themselves, jump out of buildings, lay in the railways and worst of all stab themselves. I watched the videos to see the true process behind these kind of actions.

I've come to the conclusion that the only way to get the best outcome is to prepare yourself, no matter which method you choose. Those who impulsively have chosen to CTB suffered from lots of pain because they were not ready for it. Except if it's instant death, it doesn't really matter.

It's just as painful to die as it is to live. Peaceful it is afterwards which won't matter as you'd be unaware of it anyway and won't be able to witness your success.

I used to go out of my way for suicide videos but no more. I've seen enough.
