Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

we will be reborn over and over, die over and over, and endure endless suffering for millenia to come.
i hope not, but knowing my luck, it might happen.

I have this weird theory that when we die, time just speeds up from our perspective. When I die, all the things that come after death, all the millions of years, then the heat death of the universe will pass in a moment, since I won't be there to experience the passing of time. The question is what comes after, what is beyond infinity.

What we fail to understand is that there are things that we cannot understand. And death is one of those things in my opinion. Our minds are limited, our imagination is limited.

Like when ants appear in my kitchen, they cannot understand that it is my kitchen, it is impossible for them. The same way, the world, the universe and whatever's beyond it can be way more complex than we'll ever be able to comprehend.

Having said all that, I still think it could just be the end of the movie when we die, it's lights out forever, and that's it. And we won't even know, because we won't be there anymore.

I think if I were Atheistic I would find suicide much easier.

I firmly believe that we live on after we leave our bodies, that makes me feel as though Suicide is a sin for want of a better word. This prevents me from being able to take my own life.

What effect do you think believing or not believing has in your ability to commit to suicide?

I wonder what the athiest to believer ratio is?
i used to believe in a god, but the longer i thought about it, the less i believed. People are an outcome of both genetics and environment, nothing else. You do have free will, but your decisions will come down to past experiences, aka environment, thats why your suicidal and someone else is not, thats why someone is a serial killer and youre not. we all have the same brain from birth, but each one of us went through different experiences throughout life, so i dont understand how a god can punish you for something out of your control, you are only the outcome of your circumstances. And if there is a god, then i will gladly tell him how stupid the idea of heaven and hell is, why punish when you can cure? if you look at religion from an outside perspective, its clear in a way that it was not made by an all knowing god, its too human. I see religion as more of a cult than anything else. Honestly if you think about it, were are just smart animals trying to put meaning to a cruel world lol.
