  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm not an atheist, but I'm not religious. I think I would call myself spiritual because I do feel like there will be some sort of life after death. I like reading up on different theories about the afterlife. I absolutely hate the idea of reincarnation. I hope I am not reincarnated back on this planet.. that idea terrifies me. I just want to move on to a higher plane of existence. I enjoy the idea that our higher selves chose to be born here in order for our souls to learn lessons and grow and then return "home" after death. But I do not understand why I would ever choose to be here.. idk I guess the idea just sounds pretty. If that's the case I can't wait to go back home. I'm done here. I think it's a cruel joke that we are intelligent enough to understand our own mortality but we have no clue what's going to happen after we go. It drives me crazy.

No. I believe there is nothing after this life. Once we lose consciousness, that is it, we are gone. I think it is like how before we were born time passed and yet we weren't aware of anything. I see it as being the same after we die.

I'm open to that idea also. It just makes me wonder how we would exist in the first place.. with how massive and intricate the universe is I would hope that there would be something important and beautiful to come out of all of this suffering we go through here on earth. Lack of consciousness afterwards wouldn't be too bad either, though.

I think we are part of the universe all the time. We are reabsorbed into the whole again when we die just as we were still part of the whole before we were born. We just hold this form we call 'me' while we are alive.
That said, there is so much we just dont know about the universe - quantum physics and entangled particles are mind blowing concepts to the old mindset that what we see is what there is.
Ultimately who knows?

This near death experience video reasonates with me, this was the first one where a person, after, according to them, experiencing the peace and beautiful, loving white light, admits that it was a mistake to come back.

It wasn't one of those, "I saw the beauty of the other side and it just made me love life even more!" videos.

I guess a lot of people who've had near death experiences have a hard time adjusting and have a deep feeling of being homesick after their experience.

Near death experiences might just be products of our psyches, some of the near death accounts I've heard are pretty crazy and make me want to believe that there is no afterlife, but some experiences are interesting.

The belief in an afterlife comes from religion. The most likely is that death is the end.
