  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Not really; murder is discourteous. I'd rather someone consent to murder, if that makes sense - but then that's just assisted suicide. Hope that makes sense.

murder is often young children, women in abusive relationships, etc. many people who are murdered don't want to die, and taking someone's life who still wants is completely unacceptable. the whole point of pro choice is that someone CHOOSES whether or not to die on their own twrms

No. It is very decisive whether the person wants it or not. This is a very huge different.

Not at all. Murder is not by choice for the victim.

Murder can not and should never be justified in any way. A murder victim doesn't choose to die, a suicidal person makes the choice to die and usually on their own accord

No. Suicide is an expression - perhaps the ultimate expression - of personal autonomy; murder is the ultimate denial of another's autonomy. They are in fact complete opposites.

I would say a strong NO. Every murder is not an assisted suicide. Most people don't want to die.

No, because there's no element of consent.

welcome to ss new member. Assisted suicide and murder are not the same.

assisted suicide= help someone who WANTS to die
murder = kill someone who WANTS to live
