Discussion Do we have any goodbye threads from people CTB via gunshot?

There's a ton with SN, which makes sense, since you can type whole dying, but are there users here who CTB (CTBed?) via firearm/gunshot? There's no way to really search stuff like this, which is why I ask. I might do one before I CTB.

Not as far as I recall OP.I'd also imagine since SN is far more peaceful. It's more conducive to planning and writing notes and posting farewell threads, etcetera.Shooting yourself is a bit more abrupt and brutal. I feel it requires a different mindset than SN. For some reason I feel I'd be less talkative if I was choosing to shoot myself.



One more issue with that is it's a really traumatic way to go for anyone witnessing it. I witnessed someone taking the bus through SN but I cannot for the life of me come to terms with anyone shooting themselves.

Doesn't help that I'm squeamish.

Didn't mean videos of it, dw. I meant moreso any threads where the OP was like "hey, gonna go CTB with my gun, bye" and didn't post after. I know a lot of us are Usamerican so the lack of Any threads about it is. Worrying.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. For some reason, and I wonder why now at this point I haven't seen people who are going to take the bus through a gunshot posting farewell threads. Interesting.

Here's an older one. Not sure what you're hoping to find in them. They'd be difficult to find, anyway, because of the way the search function works. "Goodbye" is usually indicated in the title of the post, but the method usually isn't. Sometimes with SN it is. I'm sure there are several Firearm Goodbye posts lurking around, if you're inclined to search for them.

Ye, it's hard to find specific posts. I did look through goodbye posts but a lot of them were SN related.

Here's another. Remember, all goodbyes are anecdotal unless there's enough info somewhere to connect a user to an irl story, if it even makes a story in a newspaper or online.

Most goodbye threads are using SN because SN is by far the most popular method on this forum.
