ever since covid happened there's always been "new dangerous disease" being reported by news websites and outlets every other week, thry are just trying to get clicks for money, I wouldn't think anything of it personally unless the numbers start showing for it.

I'm not a biologist or anything like that, so take this information with that in mind: Disease X isn't a specific disease. It is being used as a placeholder to represent the idea of a disease that doesn't currently affect humans (but does other animals) but could in the future because of natural mutation to spill over to humans or from mutation due to lab experimentation. Bird flu is one possibility that I've heard, but it could be a lot of things. The point of talking about Disease X is to try to prepare for this to happen again like it did with COVID 19.
