Just wanting to discuss this thing that ive known for a while

A disease that cause you to lose the ability to feel pain (CIPA)
and
A disease that cause you to lose the ability to feel fear (Urbach–Wiethe)

(You can google it for more info)

but basically what happens are
The people can even chew their own hands off without even care and have weapons point at them and still laughing fearlessly

it makes me think that if i or we in that situation

wouldnt it be easy and fast for us to end it all?

Its like a game where we could just easily quit because theres no fear and pain

i kind of envy that
despite the people who have that disease could want a normal life with emotions while i dont want emotions

:'(

Yes, I can relate to you. I sort of wanted to become a Cyberman when I watched Doctor Who. Emotions and pain can seem like more trouble than they're worth.

My mind went there. Couldn't be helped.
Without reading about either yet, OP- I presume both are genetic?

Yet another "lottery loss", no?

Yes genetic it seems :'(

although theresa genetic mutation also or something that can cause/develop/make it

Hence i even thought of developing MPD and then ctb with it like poof disappear

But i read that its also a controversial thing

Moderna is covid vaccine right :hihi:

But youre right though they can alter genetic

like elon musk too with his brain chip

But was hoping theres something we could do on our own

like how autoimmune disease, channelopathy, etc which can also evelop later in life without known cause

Yeah, Moderna is one of em'. The only product they've ever brought to market in a decade, since the campanies' inception last time I checked. My mother in law is currently paying a nasty debt for believing in their product. She doesn't have much time left.

Have you ever seen this, OP?

I've never used one, but it could be good for learning. I'm convinced we're all more capable than we think. What little I understand about CRISPR seems simple, almost intuitive. Of course, I'm just some average, toxic idiot.

I don't know where you live, but where I live the equipment and chemicals aren't on some watch list. Who knows? The worst that could happen, you learn a thing or two and end up like my mother in law. Best thing?

Well,

We all die in the end, anyway.

I can imagine that having that disease does make ctb easier for people, as long as having no fear doesn't make that person attempt risky methods that are almost guaranteed to fail. I can imagine that people who don't have the ability to feel fear are more likely to take risks.

But yes, I guess that having that disease would particularly make it easier for methods like jumping, as that does sound like a terrifying way to leave to me, and of course would be difficult to go through with as it means that we would have to overcome the SI. But I just envy those who manage to ctb in general. Nobody who is still alive is really lucky, only those who have left this world are.

I just realized something recently

there seem to be a fear ingrained to us that protect/prevent us from falling/jumping from high place

Same as how its being used in thrilling rides in amusement park(the feel when we ride that like our hearts left behind while were being thrown down) and how some people afraid of flights, etc

I think if you had no fear and no pain then death wouldn't be far off whether you want to ctb or not
