Disabled - any ideas for assistance?

Two years ago I developed a horrendous neurological condition. I can barely walk, can barely talk, and am in severe chronic pain every day.

I am too sick to have any quality of life but too healthy to die quickly. Dying a 'natural' death would be slow and beyond awful given my health conditions.

I absolutely need to ctb, but I'm so disabled I can't get supplies. Even mail order wouldn't work since my mail gets opened by other people who take care of me.

What I need is for someone to passively assist by dropping off supplies at night.

This is a total shot in the dark, but any ideas or resources to find this?

I'm so sorry, I have a very similar situation. My neurological disease takes away my strength and the meaning of life disappears, living with pain and the inability to move around and leave the house normally does not make sense to me. I also managed to build several good businesses and raise my son, although he is only 13. Of course, my family supports me, but I don't see the point in continuing. I don't understand how paralyzed people live and say they enjoy life. I wish you strength.

At least where I live assisted suicide isn't legalised, to me it's so hellish and horrible how people have to suffer so extremely like that yet with no accessible way to die in peace. But anyway it sounds so torturous what you are going through so I hope that you eventually find the freedom you search for.

Thank you for the good ideas everyone! Unfortunately I wouldn't qualify for doctor assistance in my area, and I'm too disabled to travel long distances.

why would you say that? just talk to one of those uber eats drivers. i can't think of anyplace else that would deliver at night.

i suppose it depends on what he requires. more than likely, the driver would have to do the purchasing as well so they'll at least know that it's not illegal. i mean if they can see that he is disabled, maybe they'd ask fewer questions.

sympathy to both of you. i've had gout over 10 times and always on the left or right ankle. there were times i'd want to saw my feet off. usually can't fall asleep for 3 days and there were times my ankle decided to spasm in that condition.

were you able to find any help? you'll have to risk any money you give to the driver for purchases but they are for the most part honest workers and they work for themselves so on a slow day, maybe you can convince one of them to do you a favor.

I'm not sure how I'd get a delivery driver to order or pick up something like sn for me unfortunately.

I love the escort idea! I wouldn't be able to meet up with her beforehand though and would just be cold calling. It's a tall order but I suppose not impossible.

Ideally, some kindred, kindly soul here would offer to get them supplies for you as he get them for himself. I know that's a long shot because most of us here are struggling getting supplies for our own use, not to mention the fact that assisting someone to ctb is a crime almost everywhere in this damn world.

I'm guessing you don't qualify for medically-assisted dying (which is now legal in California). Is that so?

Your situation is heartbreaking. Is your family aware of how much suffering you're going through? Have you expressed it to them in the same way you've shared it with us on this post? If I were in their shoes, and a beloved family member were in yours, I imagine I would help grant his last wish come true, and I would have peace in my heart doing that, knowing that I'd be saving him from a doomed life of unimaginable pain and suffering.
