Basically a few years ago, I OD'd on diphenhydramine and I ended up on a ventilator in icu after having seizures.
I was reading my medical notes and it said I couldn't maintain my own airway and had blood and sick in my mouth. So if I hadn't been found, I probably would have aspirated on my own vomit/blood and died. Meanwhile, I was completely unconscious, didn't feel a thing, I was out like a light.
I probably just got really lucky with my experience (or maybe unlucky cause I'm still alive) but I didn't experience the scary hallucinations and wasn't awake for any of it.
Only reason I haven't done it again is because I struggle to swallow more than a few pills now.
So yeah, maybe it's not as impossible as people say it is.
