My anxiety is at screaming point yet again. It seems to me that so-called modern life is purposely designed to get on your nerves as much as possible. Even the simplest of tasks are made harder, even though they are supposedly made easier by modern technology. I am in my 50s and cant be bothered with all this smartphone, cashless bullshit etc, etc. I have always paid in cash, do not own a smartphone and have always used paper forms etc. I have just spent 5 hours trying to renew my driving licence online because applications by paper are taking up to 2 months to arrive. Trying online is a fucking nightmare, all I keep getting are constant screen timeouts, cannot find your details messages etc etc. Is it just me overeacting in my usual hyper-anxious mindset, or is technology on the whole a bit of a cunt.
