Departure Emails

I'm planning to CTB soon and plan to have departure emails "schedule sent". I've tested the 'schedule send' feature in Gmail multiple times by sending emails to myself and it worked every time. However, I'm still paranoid about possible failure. I'm thinking of creating a second account from which the emails can be sent manually by someone I trust. So, I have two questions:

- Does anyone else have similar plans. If so, I'd be interested in knowing your specific plan.

- Has anyone here been entrusted by another member in a task like sending out departure emails? I might be interested in speaking to any such members as I have no friends or family who I feel I could trust with this endeavor. Feel free to PM me.

Put your schedule sent a few days into the future. I tested it and I am not paranoid that it will work. Since I backed out, I was able to delete the schedule sent.

This delayed emails worked for me when I needed (for different reasons), and a friend of mine who CTBed used it to warn his family and it worked. Hope it helps to know.
