Death vs Happy Life

I don't understand how anyone could label existence as happy as to me existence will always be the most torturous, dreadful abomination that just causes all this harm and suffering, there's no happiness in how this existence was so tragically imposed when never suffering at all was perfection with existing beings in agony every second, the suffering and torture of existing is endless with no limit as to how much one can be tortured.

I'll just always see existence as the most terrible, dreadful mistake that only ever harms existing beings and no matter what I'd never wish to be conscious of anything at all, to be conscious in this existence is the most painful, torturous and futile burden. I'll just always see existence as the problem and simply just existing is enough to make me wish for the peace of an eternal sleep where all is gone and forgotten, I just want to erase this terrible, torturous existence, for me only non-existence could ever be positive, there's just so much evil in existence.

I had a good life a few years ago and I considered myself to be decently happy
It was at this time I attempted for the first time
I choose death in a heartbeat, no amount of happiness is worth living for

Not that my life was happy at all.....but I wish that I could go back in time and didn't fuck up my health which led me to have the most miserable life imaginable. Even though things were super hard before, it was manageable most days.

Agree. I've had some bad luck but was provided the blessings to still live well. It's all on me.

I used to feel like this to some extent. However, I've come to realize that I existed within a given context. While, no, I didn't always make the best use of the what blessings I did have. I also understand that I did the best I could with who I was at that time. I made the best decisions based on my psychological development and guidance at that time. I did the best with what I had, given my circumstances, resources, and support system. I'm not making excuses for myself. However, I'm not going to beat myself up either for not playing a rigged game the right way.

I don't know, I guess I'm odd like that. To each their own.
