Okay so I have tried this before when I was younger. In the heat of summer, I went 4 days with no food + water / liquids. I eventually gave up. I want to try again and will be documenting it if anyone is interested.

I am 18 years old and healthy. I know this method is more recommended for old and sick people however, I feel like I just keep running into dead ends with methods and want a simple one that requires nothing but will.

The problem is, I don't live alone. Can I die before people start noticing? If I get sent to hospital can they force feed me? If "saved" are there any side affect like life long disability or damage for going without food + water for a long period of time.

I know this isn't a great method but I have no other choice.

After your body consumes all the fat, itll make you very weak. After a certain threshold I believe your body & mind begin to consume itself over a certain period of time in which you will be in sure misery rotting from the inside out. It's not painless without the proper medicine. Im sure someone else will come by and give you a better understanding, just thought id give you a heads up.

You'll die of thirst long before you die of hunger, but it will not be a pleasant way to pass. I also think that your SI would kick in and force you to drink before you expired.

However, if discovered, you would be force-fed to keep you alive. I don't know what the long term damage would be, but I would imagine that it would considerable. This is likely one of the worst ways to die that could opt for. I'd rather stab myself.

Dehydration is faster, starvation usually takes way over a month, and much longer if you start overweight/obese! With dehydration, the thirst would be bad, the headache (like a worst hangover in the world), etc. I doubt that it would be possible to do it unnoticed when not living alone, there would be plenty of time to call the emergency when you start losing consciousness. Sorry but it sounds like just a way to get hospitalized, so why won't you just fast-forward to being hospitalized without doing any harm to yourself? Of course other, more reliable methods exist too and I'm not going to stop you. But I'd like people to stop doing harm to themselves in attempts to ctb when it's a cry for help. And it sounds like that here. I perfectly understand and respect the decision to not use mental health services if you don't want to. But if you're making a plan to basically get hospitalized anyway, skipping the hurting oneself part and getting help sounds like a reasonable alternative.

dying from starvation is gonna take months; however, a week should suffice for dehydration. while this method is probably one of the worst ones out there, as dehydration is an actual form of torture, i am interested in reading your detailed documentation. i'm also willing to bet you'll give up like 4/5 days in haha. also, if you're worried about your roommates, just book a hotel or something :/

😭😂😂 oh no hun, trust me, I'm not one of those cry for help suicidals. Just desperate and no other method available. I guess if u really understood what it is to want to go so bad that you would try this method, u would get it. But u don't. So maybe ur the cry for help here. I'm kidding but still. You just seem like u don't get it.

I don't have enough money to book a hotel for a week or 2. I tried this at 11, no water no food, and did indeed give up after 4 days. But I am hoping to try harder this time. If I do decide to try this, which I will make the decision by the end of this week, then I will keep you updated.

I started my starvation as of 12 hours ago. I am underweight already from a previous effort. It's not easy in that the days and nights drag on. I am going to give it another shot.
