Just a rant. I called it "Dear Customer, I Would Rather Drink Bleach" for dramatic effect, but it's not just about my business. Even though business is a big part of it.
Just to get it over with, taxes went up. I lost a client because of it, they closed shop. It was a good client.
A sales assistant I really bet on has decided to resign. I know, labor rights, I shouldn't be upset and everything. I just bet a lot on them, invested in their education, helped them to a bigger commission per sale. Wanted to see them grow and really associated the future of my company with them. But fuck the capitalist, huh? Fuck me for trying. The resignation wasn't cute either. Peaceful, yes, but something in that peace... You see a person who isn't afraid to lose contact with you.
Now I have to rearrange their clients to different sales managers. My company isn't big enough for a real-life department, it's just me and a bunch of other people. I took some clients myself. Now I have about 10 running campaigns at the same time, and everyone wants a piece of me every now and then. One of the customers likes to teach me how to do my job. I would really rather drink bleach.
I am so fucking done keeping everything together. I finally started working on a VPN for my family, which is currently in a country with a brutal censorship. Like, so brutal that the normal VPNs won't work and you have to know a lot of technical stuff to go around it. I would rather not talk about it much. I'm just trying to keep my loved ones safe and free.
I just received my language test results for a university I'm accepted to. They require language proof. And I failed one of the modules. That's C1, a high proficiency level.
My friend, who took N4 Japanese and passed, said something like "I'm so sorry". Bitch fuck you. N4 is basic characters and grammar, you're not sorry, you're just next. I didn't say that to her, of course. In the words of Karen from "Mean Girls", "it's because I'm such a good friend".
Kidding. I know I'm not.
