I finished the PPH cover to cover as well as investigating the whole of exits internationals site. And wow, what a book, It feels like a lot of the same info on this site just more concise and organized. My options to die make more sense to me now. I'm glad for the book, but still while reading it I had a nagging thought. The community around the book, and really a number of people in this world seem to hold the belief that death belongs only to the old. That just because I'm not old and crippled I should be forced to exist in this pointless world. Why should age (Past adulthood) matter in the choice to live or die? Matter in MY choice. Like my youth means I should have less options, not more. Older folks choose to die because of terminal pain or because they have lived there life to the fullest (At least till they've had enough) and are ready to go. They have no more life left in them. I feel the same way. It is the same for me. I think a lot of the people have a significant amount more pain driving them to catch the bus then I do. For me its not a sharp pain, its a dull, utter lack of feelings. I don't want anything, nothing makes me happy or sad or mad or any of the basic human feelings I should. The only thing I feel is a urge to die. The only thing I want is to die and for my body to be in the place as my head already is. The PPH, and this site, they have given me the closest to a plan I've ever had. My next post will be exploring more of my options, running the plays, drawing up real, usable plans. A step by step path the end. Maybe that will make me happy, only one way to know.
For the record I don't mean to attack exit international, I think they have done some really great work, just some things (Like having to be over 50 to buy the full PPH) are dumb and wrong I feel.
