I was a teenager in the 90s, but never watched Dawson's Creek till now. I just love it. Because it shows how many kids go through suffering - like difficult/abusive parents, mental illness, bereavement. For me, watching Dawson's Creek has done more for me than any therapist - because it gave me that connection with the suffering that other teenagers also go through. You know, for years I thought it was just me, because I felt so alone in my abusive family and there was no-one I could talk to about it.

Anyone else also find it therapeutic or wonderful?

Also, there is a great scene with Jen Lindley and her therapist which epitomises everything I hate in therapists too - though he does end up turning it round in a very unrealistic and untherapist like fashion.
