I feel you :( the motivation to do anything can feel so non existent. I hope you're still able to enjoy some aspects of your life before you ctb. Best case scenario, things get better rooting for you
I only play one game, Infinity Nikki. It is an open world gacha game and it has stuff like quests, puzzles, platforming, combat, mini games, etc. I like it a lot I've been playing it since it came out in December and there are some bad things about it (one season had a lot of player drama that involved doxxing/one really bad update) but in general I find it a game that has a lot of effort put into it. I also like how since it is a live service game they listen to player feedback and change things with enough reports. However they like listening to the Chinese players more since they are the biggest spenders lol.
The best part is that you don't really need to spend money on the game because you do get a decent amount of free currency for the banners. I've spent like $30 and that wasn't even for pulling that was for shop items over time.
I don't really play any other games because I got bored of them. I still play sims 4 every now and then and I used to play ACNH and BOTW. I liked BOTW but it got too hard at one point and I quit and never picked it back up lol. And animal crossing pissed me off because I had EVERYTHING because I went to a treasure island and randomly in the stream someone gave me the premium or whatever to go to the private and slower islands and it was amazing. I had my favorite villagers that are so hard to get. But I restrarted that island one day and forgot and when I saw I couldn't do it again.
I just played What Remains of Edith Finch and it's an amazing way to spend maybe 2-3 hours. I'm also working through Coffee Talk 2 at the moment which is another short game. I don't want to commit myself to anything too long for obvious reasons.

BALL KNOWLEDGE DETECTED. I haven't finished coffee talk 2 but I adored the 1st one in all its entirety. I haven't heard of Edith Finch but the atmosphere looks beautiful when searched it up

9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors, and Peripeteia
the first of which I'm playing with someone I love and the 2nd of which I was aware of for a while I think but wasn't able to play it until recently
that was already a little bit ago though, I haven't had much will to even play videogames lately:(

Nonary games PEAK I hope you're enjoying it so far :) I feel you on not having the drive to play but I hope that you can enjoy some good ones that don't take too much out of you. I hope things get better for you, whatever it is

I took advantage of the promotion and bought Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, I only play those now, but I haven't played any other games since, except for Fortnite sometimes.

Niceee I saw all of them on sale but I ended up buying the bioshock collection cus I'm slightly more familiar with the premise although I haven't played it myself. How're you liking it so far? :)

I'm just playing Sky COTL most of the time. I don't have anyone to play it with, but since the scenery, music, and sound effects are so calming, it brings me peace.

My current rotation at the moment consists of Valorant, Project Zomboid & Madoka Magica Magia Exedra. Been pouring majority of my hours into Zomboid solo run & challenges. It's hard to have the energy to play overall with how little I have already to start with, but I somehow managed to pour over 200 hours in the last two weeks xD. It's normal for me to do this with games & later forget they exist. There are a lot of games in my library I bought & hope to play eventually, but I tend to never open them lol.

Ahh a fellow Madoka Magica enjoyer! >:D I 100%'d that game it was rlly fun. So relatable tho I hope I can get to most of the games I have in my library cus I genuinely want to experience them for myself. Also fully completing games just give me some kind of sense of accomplishment. I love engaging w art in all mediums it's so much more interesting than some things I have to learn for school T_T. I hope you can find the energy to enjoy more games!!
i have around 500 games in my library, and like 300 of them i've never played and never will be able to play anymore :\
i think it's a bad idea to buy games/books/etc with the thought "i don't want it right now, but i'll definitely play it someday, so i should buy it while it's on sale". not sure if i wanna gift my steam account to someone or just leave it as is

Personally, I'd keep ur account and try to actually play some of what's there of the 300. If it's not hitting right, then gift it to someone you care abt or maybe even ask them to help you knock a couple games down if you're into achievement hunting. Ik it sounds silly to say with like 500 games lol but enjoy yourself while you still can. Not to foreshadow because I do hope things get better for you
Paladins. Its a free pvp game kinda like Overwatch. I play it mostly as it has a team talk function which allows me annoy teammates and opposition (yh I know not the best but it helps me vent). I should be moving apartments this Saturday. After that I think I should be a bit happier (the move is raising my anxiety) so I might go back to tackling my library of almost 100 unbeaten games. Think I will start with Divinity Original Sin 2 or maybe Pathfinder Kingmaker.
