Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm not inpatient or anything like that but I just want to gather some info in case ctb'ing while being hospitalized is my only option.
So, I was wondering, if you were to be hospitalized, and this would be your one and only chance to die, how would you choose to end your life?
I've thought about hanging myself but it's not really a favorable way for me to leave.

It's not worth the risk. There isn't really a good way except hanging and that is really risky in a ward.

It would be best to just wait until you get out if you end up in the ward.

You'd be closely monitored and it's highly unlikely you'd be able to pull it off before being found. You'd just be making it more difficult for yourself and ensuring you'd stay in for longer. As meretlein said, it's better to wait until you get out

The best thing is to act as normally as possible so that you can be discharged quickly. They can prevent success in most cases and thus keep you locked up for a longer period of time.

I am aware that ctb'ing while being hospitalized is bad, but my question was what method other people would use if the only chance for them to die is when they're inpatient :)
