- and read through more of Nihil Unbound by Ray Brassier.

I've been reading this book, and I really enjoy Brassier's strategy to arguing for transcendental nihilism. I think it's very representative of the essence of nothingness.
He does not make any arguments for or against nihilism; the subject is hardly even mentioned throughout the chapters.
Instead, he spends time debunking fundamental concepts of philosophy and deconstructing common systems; belief, reality, factuality, spacetime, negation, identity...

After he finishes providing arguments for why none of those are valid, he doesn't offer any follow-up ideas, or any conclusion. He just ends it, abruptly, with a blank page. I think that is perfectly in the not-spirit of nihilism. Though, I am also bastardizing it by ascribing feelings and ideas to it right now...

Two weeks ago, I spent 8 hours a day learning advanced calculus... My head is still reeling with numbers.
You can understand math if you apply yourself; it just takes an obnoxious amount of practice and repetition.
