This would be Vampire: the Masquerade, not Twilight, but honestly, close enough anyway.

People really like to bash on Twilight, since it's "bad writing" and "female romantic fantasy"; the story, after all, is about a scrawny and awkward teenage girl who is obsessed over by an extremely handsome vampire man who is constantly wrestling between his desire to eat her and to love her, and a muscular, dominant werewolf who also has a crush on her and wants to protect her from the vampire.
Stephenie Meyer, in response to the criticism, later wrote a book that is literally just Twilight, except the character sexes are swapped. So now it's about a boy being stalked by a hot girl and a muscle mommy. The reviews were very good and people suddenly understood why girls like Twilight. Lmao.

Everything about the gambling industry is designed to make you lose and to get you hooked. The games always have a slight mathematical edge for the house, you are offered free alcohol in order to encourage impulsive spending, conventionally attractive young men and women are selected to act as dealers and chat you up to get you to keep playing. Not to mention, house rules that subtly rig things against you.
In the event that you do actually end up winning, the casino can just decide that you're winning too much and kick you out. Whoop dee doo.

Gambling is fun for me, but I'd never do it with actual money, and certainly not at a casino. Since I'm so aware of the manipulations, it makes me view everyone there with negativity and suspicion.
