Discussion Correlation between this forum and incel-adjacency.

I will admit that my suicidal thoughts and problems are linked somewhat to inceldom but currently I don't necessarily want to vent. I want for as many people as possible to answer the poll whether they identity as incel or not and see the correlation between incelibacy and suicidal thoughts or ideation. So you're kind of my study sample.

Most arguments people use to say that femcels don't exist also apply to male mentalcels, which are the majority.

People get lonely at times but my virginity is only one of the reasons for registering on here. I also got no friends because im not very social. I believe height and looks do definetly matter but i think its not to the complete extreme that you can't find someone with good personality and confidence which i don't have as well. Ever since i was a kid i would just sit alone in class and stay quiet.

As an old guy I admit that I don't understand "incels" or "blackpillers" - I actually had to look that term up.

I was always seen as the steady and reliable "big brother" so the standard retort when I tried to take things to the next level was "sorry, you're like a brother to me". At least I was in a fairly large group of guys that had to admire girls from afar (we were the nerds, head-bangers, dopers, etc). Hell, I even remember always buying 2 tickets for every concert because I was going to get a girl to come with me!! Nope, I ended up giving those tickets away.

In hindsight, because I was part of a larger group that didn't get dates, it was easier than if I was isolated from friends. Also, my main dating years were the 80's and 90's which was a different time socially and culturally. I can't imagine competing with the social media idealization of the perfect man or woman - they are not real nor attainable but they seem to be held up as the gold standard nowadays.

im kidding, i do not like incels because i think its lame to blame everyone but yourself. i can relate to the struggles of the majority of the dating pool not being into you and how depressing that is, i think i just internalized it as self hatred instead of being angry at everyone else for it.
