Around 40-50 minutes by public transport from my home, there's a building where you can go bungee jumping from over 100 metres high. From the photos online, it looks like there's only the roof of a much shorter building below, possibly overgrown with weeds. All around, concrete or asphalt.

I might go and check it as a regular customer in the coming weeks to see if there's a way to jump without a cord if/when the time comes.

I am annoyed by the idea that other people will need to see the show though (it's a tourist area). 😞

i don't wanna come off as mean or anything, but the latter sounds quite possible - some family on vacation with their small children watching you fall from the sky and squash on the asphalt - idk, i feel like that might cause some emotional scarring or at the very least ruin their vacation qwq

Exactly, that's what I thought too. There's a few tall buildings I can easily reach, but they are all in tourist/busy areas. An alternative would be booking a room in a tall hotel (some sell rooms with city view) and then wait for the night, but then I would need to be sure the window can be opened.

yeahh, for some reason they don't build really tall skyscrapers in the middle of nowhere - no idea why xD
are you dead set on wanting to jump? because unless you find some abandoned industrial thingy where you can climb and jump off one of these huge chimney thingies, there will likely always be someone watching...

I don't think it'll be that easy to just walk to the ramp and jump without a bungee cord.

You'd either need to go there - start to run and jump. That will "paralyze" everyone but if you you just go there watch and someone is going to suspect sth when you come near the edge people will interfere.

Imo it's not a good idea.

Yeah, that's why I want to go there to do actual bungee jumping first — so I can see if there's a way to jump without a cord, and also to get a sense of what falling feels like. If there is a way, and if/when I make up my mind, I'd go a second time. At least, that's the plan for now.
are cliffs an option?
Mmh no, not really. Perhaps viaducts, but afaik the highest ones I can reach relatively easily have fences, nets or barriers of some sort, and they would anyway require longer trips that would be more difficult to justify.

I have checked some YouTube videos of the place: it's not feasible. There's a net preventing you from getting even slightly closer to the edge, and you are harnessed before getting to the ramp, where a person is standing in front of you before you are allowed to walk on it.

I need to check some rooftop bars then.
